Place and Time for the Meeting of the Next Delegate Synod.
Resolved, that the next (12th) Delegate Synod meet, God willing, in 1908 at Fort Wayne, Ind., following an invitation from the congregations there.
Resolved, that the 1908 session begin on the Wednesday before the Sunday Cantate.
Close of the Synod.
On Saturday afternoon, July 1, the Synod closed its sessions — twenty in all — with heartfelt thanks to God, singing the last verse of hymn No. 346 of our hymnal and praying the Lord's Prayer.
Yes, praised be the triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for the rich blessing he has granted us to share, and for his gracious help throughout the abundance of work that had to be done. May he continue to help and bless his people and his inheritance, here in time and there in eternity. To him alone be the glory!
Amen, hallelujah, amen!!
