„Summa . . . . . . . . . . . $1084.16

„Dieſe Summe von $1084.16 wurde am 7. April dieſes Jahres
(1905) nach Indien befördert, da Nachricht von dort eingetretener

„Die beiden Kaſſirer Meier und Schuricht überwieſen der All⸗

Total . . . . . . . . . . . $1084.16

"This sum of $1084.16 was forwarded to India on April 7 of this year (1905), since news had arrived of a famine that had broken out there, and the Relief Commission believed it must now use the funds on hand for the very purpose for which they had been collected. This fund is thus presently empty.

"VI. Fund for the Boers.

The two treasurers Meier and Schuricht at various times remitted to the General Relief Commission monies that had come in to them for the suffering Boers. Since, however, no opportunity presented itself to get the money safely to the Boers, it remained on hand. The Synod should now resolve how it wishes to use it. The whole sum amounts to $327.45."

Resolved, that the sum of $327.45 just named flow into the General Relief Fund, unless a way can still be found to convey it safely to the suffering Boers in Africa even now.

"VII. The Hamann Foundation.

Regarding this it is to be reported that the sum of $1400.00 was transferred to the General Relief Commission for administration by the testatrix, and that the proceeds are to benefit certain widows named by name. So far one widow has received $40.00 twice.

"From the foregoing treasury report the Honorable Synod can see in how many ways help has been extended to districts, entire congregations, and individual persons. May the Commission's work, under God's help and blessing, continue in the future to lighten the burdens of many." (Report of the General Relief Commission.)

"The General Relief Commission proposes to the Honorable Synod that it adopt a resolution by which the General
