gemacht: Winnipeg, Can.; Butte, Mont.; Colorado Springs, Colo.,
und Rincao, Sao Pedro, Rio Grande do Sul, Braſilien.

„Bemerkung: Die Verwaltung dieſer Kaſſe iſt gegenwärtig
eine etwas ſchwerfällige, da ſie zum Theil in den Händen der All⸗
gemeinen Unterſtützungscommiſſion, zum Theil in den Händen des
Allgemeinen Kaſſirers liegt. Das macht nicht nur eine doppelte
Buchführung nöthig, ſondern erfordert auch ein ſtetiges Hinundher⸗
ſchreiben. — Die Allgemeine Unterſtützungscommiſſion erlaubt ſich
daher, der Ehrw. Synode den Vorſchlag zu machen, die Verwaltung
der Allgemeinen Kirchbaukaſſe einer beſonderen Committee zu unter⸗
ſtellen, die an demſelben Orte wohnt, wo der Allgemeine Kaſſirer
wohnt, der dann auch für die der Synode angebotenen zinsfreien
Darlehen die nöthigen Noten unterzeichnen kann. Auf dieſe Weiſe
würde die Angelegenheit bedeutend vereinfacht und erleichtert werden.“

Beſchloſſen, daß eine beſondere Commiſſion für die Ver⸗
waltung der Allgemeinen Kirchbaukaſſe erwählt werde.

ſion ſind: P. W. Brink, Lehrer T. Weſeloh und Herr Alb. Wich⸗
mann, ſämmtlich wohnhaft in St. Louis.

"From these funds advances were made to the following congregations: Winnipeg, Can.; Butte, Mont.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Rincão, São Pedro, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

"Remark: The administration of this fund is at present somewhat cumbersome, since it lies partly in the hands of the General Relief Commission and partly in the hands of the General Treasurer. This necessitates not only double bookkeeping but also constant back-and-forth correspondence. — The General Relief Commission therefore takes the liberty of proposing to the Honorable Synod that the administration of the General Church-Building Fund be placed under a special committee residing in the same place as the General Treasurer, who could then also sign the necessary notes for the interest-free loans offered to the Synod. In this way the matter would be considerably simplified and made easier."

Resolved, that a special commission be elected for the administration of the General Church-Building Fund.

Note: The members of this commission, later elected, are: Pastor W. Brink, Teacher T. Weseloh, and Mr. Alb. Wichmann, all residing in St. Louis.
