A. By transfer to the church triumphant:
Martin Stephan, formerly pastor of the congregation in Warren
Township, Bremer Co., Iowa. After he had served the Lord of the Church
faithfully and with great devotion for more than 30 years, the faithful

call to a congregation of the Reverend Wisconsin Synod.
C. By resignation from office:

rheumatic condition; but his health has, thank God, since improved to
the point that he is now again in a position to accept a call to a

2. Pastor A. Alexander of Olive Township, Clinton Co., Iowa, was
likewise regrettably compelled by a stubborn rheumatic condition to
resign his office; however, he might be able to follow a call to a
southern climate.
