                        Verſicherung von Synodaleigenthum.

    Beſchloſſen, daß wenn unſere Synode auch nicht im Stande wäre,
ihre eigene Verſicherungsgeſellſchaft ſein zu können, was ſie doch ſehr wohl
ſein kann, ſie, als ſolche, dennoch nichts von ihrem Eigenthum, möge es
einen Namen haben, welchen es wolle, verſichern laſſe.

                Geldanleihen von ſeiten der Synodalbehörden.

    Beſchloſſen, daß wenn von Aufſichtsbehörden oder anderen dazu
bevollmächtigten Behörden der Synode Geldanleihen im Namen der Synode
gemacht worden ſind, dies ſofort dem Allgemeinen Kaſſirer der Synode an⸗
gezeigt werden ſoll.

                Landankauf in der Nähe des Seminars zu St. Louis.

    Beſchloſſen, daß das ſüdlich vom College gelegene Stück Land an⸗
gekauft werde, wenn der Preis desſelben mit den Geldern vorhandener
Legate gedeckt werden kann.

                        Synodalland bei Burlington, Iowa.

    Beſchloſſen, daß, weil die Angelegenheit in Betreff dieſes Landes
ſich hier nicht erledigen läßt, der Präſes des Iowa⸗Synodaldiſtrictes, Herr
Paſtor Crämer, und Herr Deputirter Tiarks beauftragt werden, gemeinſam
nach Burlington zu reiſen und in Sachen des uns daſelbſt geſchenkten Stück
Landes nach beſtem Ermeſſen zum Wohl der Synode zu handeln.

                Reviſions⸗Committee für Unterſtützungskaſſe.

    Beſchloſſen, daß die Paſtoren G. Wangerin und C. L. Janzow
beauftragt werden, das Rechnungsbuch des Kaſſirers der Unterſtützungskaſſe
für kranke und altersſchwache Paſtoren, des Herrn Paſtor O. Lenk, zu revi⸗
diren und ihren Reviſionsbericht an das Allgemeine Präſidium einzuſenden.

                        Präſides der Aufſichtsbehörden.

    Beſchloſſen, daß die Synode es als ihren Wunſch ausſpreche, die
Präſides der Aufſichtsbehörden bei den jedesmaligen Sitzungen der Synode
behufs Berichterſtattung anweſend zu ſehen.

                        Insuring Synodical Property.

    Resolved, that even though our Synod would not be in a position to
be its own insurance company — which it could very well be — it, as
such, shall nevertheless have none of its property, whatever name it
may bear, insured.

                Loans of Money by Synodical Authorities.

    Resolved, that whenever supervisory boards or other authorities
authorized to do so have taken out loans of money in the Synod's name,
this shall immediately be reported to the Synod's General Treasurer.

                Purchase of Land near the Seminary at St. Louis.

    Resolved, that the piece of land lying south of the College be
purchased, if its price can be covered from the funds of existing
bequests.

                        Synodical Land near Burlington, Iowa.

    Resolved, that, since the matter concerning this land cannot be
settled here, the president of the Iowa Synodical District, Pastor
Crämer, and Deputy Tiarks be charged with traveling to Burlington
together and, in the matter of the piece of land donated to us there,
acting to the best of their judgment for the good of the Synod.

                Audit Committee for the Relief Fund.

    Resolved, that Pastors G. Wangerin and C. L. Janzow be charged
with auditing the account book of the treasurer of the relief fund for
sick and aged pastors, Pastor O. Lenk, and with submitting their audit
report to the General Presidium.

                        Presidents of the Supervisory Boards.

    Resolved, that the Synod express it as its wish to see the presidents
of the supervisory boards present to give reports at each session of the
Synod.
