Dankbeſchlüſſe.

Hrn. Dr. Sihler wurde für ſeine am frühern praktiſchen Prediger⸗
Seminar und dann am College zu Fort Wayne geleiſteten Dienſte von Seiten
der Synode der herzlichſte Dank abgeſtattet.

Gleichfalls beſchloß die Synode, dem bisherigen Directorium der Syno⸗
dal⸗Druckerei ihren Dank auszuſprechen für die ſelbſtverleugnende und uneigen⸗
nützige Arbeit, womit es der Synode in dieſer wichtigen Sache gedient habe.

Die Synode ſagt der St. Louiſer Geſammt⸗Gemeinde aufrichtigen
Dank für die gaſtliche Aufnahme und Bewirthung.

Auch den verſchiedenen Eiſenbahn⸗Compagnien, welche den Synodalen
eine bedeutende Ermäßigung der Fahrpreiſe bewilligt haben, wird öffentlich
Dank abgeſtattet.

Delegaten für die Verſammlungen unſerer Schweſterſynoden.

Die Synode beſchloß, keine Delegaten zu den Verſammlungen unſerer
Schweſterſynoden mehr zu ſenden, theils um Koſtenerſparniß willen, theils
weil wir jetzt in der Synodal⸗Conferenz zuſammenkommen, auf welcher alle
Synoden vertreten ſind.

Delegaten⸗Synode.

Die erſte Delegaten⸗Synode verſammelt ſich, ſo Gott will, am erſten
Mittwoch im October 1875 zu Fort Wayne, Ind., da von den dortigen Ge⸗
meinden eine freundliche Einladung ergangen war. —

Beſchlüſſe, Zeit und Ort der nächſtjährigen Diſtricts⸗Verſammlungen
betreffend.

a. Der weſtliche Diſtrict verſammelt ſich, ſo Gott will, in Schaum⸗
burg, Ills., am Mittwoch vor dem Sonntag Cantate 1873.

b. Der nördliche Diſtrict verſammelt ſich, ſo Gott will, in der Ge⸗
meinde des Hrn. Paſtor Lochner in Milwaukee, Wisc., am Mittwoch nach
dem 1. Sonntag nach Trinitatis 1873.

c. Der mittlere Diſtrict verſammelt ſich, ſo Gott will, in Logans⸗
port, Ind., am zweiten Mittwoch im Auguſt 1873.

d. Der öſtliche Diſtrict verſammelt ſich, ſo Gott will, in Waſhington,
D. C., am letzten Mittwoch im Auguſt 1873.

Resolutions of thanks.

Dr. Sihler was given the Synod's heartfelt thanks for his services
rendered earlier at the practical preachers' seminary and then at the
College in Fort Wayne.

The Synod likewise resolved to express its thanks to the previous
directorate of the synodical printing house for the self-denying and
unselfish work with which it had served the Synod in this important
matter.

The Synod extends sincere thanks to the whole congregation body of St.
Louis for its hospitable welcome and entertainment.

Public thanks are also extended to the various railroad companies which
granted the synodical members a substantial reduction in fares.

Delegates to the assemblies of our sister synods.

The Synod resolved to send delegates to the assemblies of our sister
synods no longer, partly for the sake of saving costs, and partly because
we now meet together in the Synodical Conference, at which all synods are
represented.

The Delegate Synod.

The first Delegate Synod shall assemble, God willing, on the first
Wednesday of October 1875 at Fort Wayne, Ind., since a friendly
invitation had come from the congregations there. —

Resolutions concerning the time and place of next year's district
assemblies.

a. The Western District shall assemble, God willing, in Schaumburg,
Ill., on the Wednesday before Cantate Sunday, 1873.

b. The Northern District shall assemble, God willing, in the
congregation of Pastor Lochner in Milwaukee, Wisc., on the Wednesday
after the 1st Sunday after Trinity, 1873.

c. The Middle District shall assemble, God willing, in Logansport,
Ind., on the second Wednesday of August 1873.

d. The Eastern District shall assemble, God willing, in Washington,
D.C., on the last Wednesday of August 1873.
