werde;

A. C. Burgdorf.
We, the auditing committee appointed by President J. Bading, have
audited the books of the treasurer of the Negro Mission, A. C. Burgdorf, compared them with the vouchers
and found them correct. The present report agrees exactly with the books.
St. Louis, 9 August 1886. Henry Kalbfleisch, Sr.
Louis Lange, Jr.
The treasurer of the above fund asked the Conference for a simplification
of the fund.
The Synodical Conference therefore resolved:
1. that the debt in the Building Fund be covered out of the Mission Fund;
2. that the Building Fund as a separate fund be abolished, that is, merged with the
Mission Fund.
Herewith the earlier resolution is also rescinded which forbade taking
the monies for building matters from the Mission Fund.
III. The Concordia Orphans' Home in Butler County, Pa.
Pastor P. Brand, the Reverend President of the Concordia Synod, which
is about to dissolve in order to join the Eastern District of the Missouri
Synod, asked in a letter the Synodical Conference for the
settlement of a matter concerning the Concordia Orphans' Home in Butler
County, Pa. The committee entrusted with this matter
reported on Thursday afternoon the following:
"The 'deed' to the property of the Concordia Orphans' Home is
made out to the three pastors F. Wilhelm, P. Brand and K. Walz,
who hold the property 'in trust' for the following purposes: to establish and maintain a home
for orphan children and for the infirm aged, but
