The previous members of the Commission were re-elected to this office, and in addition, as sixth member, Pastor R. Kretzschmar.
At the urgent request of Pastor Hanser the editorship of the "Miſſions⸗Taube" [Mission Dove] was taken from him. Pastor Sapper was elected chief editor, Pastor R. Kretzschmar co-editor.
Prof. R. A. Bischoff was re-elected editor of the "Pioneer."
Examination of the Synodical Reports of the Synods Belonging to the Synodical Conference.
The following committee reports were unanimously adopted:
1. Report on the synodical reports of the Reverend Minnesota Synod of 1894 and 1895.
2. Report on the synodical reports of the California and Oregon District of the Reverend Synod of Missouri, Ohio and Other States.
3. Report on the synodical reports of the Kansas District of the Reverend Synod of Missouri, Ohio and Other States.
4. Report on the synodical reports of the Southern District of the Reverend Synod of Missouri, Ohio and Other States.
5. Report on the synodical reports of the Central District of the Reverend Synod of Missouri, Ohio and Other States.
6. Report on the synodical reports of the Illinois District of the Reverend Synod of Missouri, Ohio and Other States.
7. Report on the synodical reports of the Nebraska District of the Reverend Synod of Missouri, Ohio and Other States.
8. Report on the synodical reports of the Eastern District of the Reverend Synod of Missouri, Ohio and Other States.
9. Report on the synodical reports of the Reverend Wisconsin Synod. (Reports are at hand.)
It was found very surprising that the committee reports were missing on so many synodical reports, and it was therefore resolved that these missing reports be laid before the Synodical Conference at its next session, and indeed also on the reports of the Reverend Michigan Synod.

Against "Mr. *Präses* [president] Böhner and that part of the Synod of Michigan which holds with him" a petition to the president of the Synodical Conference had raised "the accusation of unLutheran practice and therefore also of unLutheran doctrine." The complainants had offered "to lay the individual points before the Synodical Conference and to prove them." Since no "specified points of complaint" had been submitted to the president of the Synodical Conference, he had accordingly also been unable to give President Böhner any
