That the Secretary be instructed to send a letter of condolence
to the family of the late faithful treasurer of the Synodical Con-
ference, Mr. Albert Gruett.

Adopted.

Certificate of Audit.

Pursuant to a resolution of the 1930 Quincy Convention of the Sy-
nodical Conference I have examined the books and records of the Board
for Colored Missions of the Evangelical Lutheran Synodical Conference
of North America for its fiscal year ended June 30, 1930, and certify that
the statement of asset and liability accounts as presented by the Treasurer
in his printed report to the convention, and as published in these Pro-
ceedings, is in agreement with the books of account.

In connection with the examination, which included the tracing of all
receipts to the deposits in the bank and the substantiation of the disburse-
ments by approved vouchers and paid bank checks, special attention was
paid to the Debenture Issue which was floated during the period under
examination, as well as Coupon No. 1 of this same issue, which was paid
on May 1, 1930. All features in connection with this Debenture Issue were
commendably handled.

St. Louis, Mo., September 19, 1930.
A. W. HUGE, Synodical Auditor, Missouri Synod.
