70 Verhandlungen der zweiunddreißigſten Verſammlung
Report of Committee on Treasurer's Report.
(Committee: Pastors F. H. Kretzschmar, F. M. L. Nitz; Mr. F. Heger-
feld.)
Your Committee has examined two reports of the Treasurer of
the Synodical Conference, covering the time from August 1, 1928,
to April 1, 1929, and from April 1, 1929 to July 1, 1930, respectively.
We have found both reports made out in proper form and signed
by the Treasurer and the authorized auditing committee. We recom-
mend therefore that the reports be accepted.
The Synodical Conference accepted this report and resolved that
the Treasurer's Report be published in the synodical report of the
Synodical Conference.
Reports of Committees on Protests.
A.
(Committee: Pastors Wm. Hagen, W. F. Lichtsinn, J. Ruege, W. Neu-
mann, R. Ziesemer; Teacher R. Schoknecht; Messrs. E. A. Grabowski,
O. Breitag.)
Your Committee has discussed the protest of the visitors of the
North Wisconsin District of the Missouri Synod against certain
features of the Synodical Report of the West Wisconsin District of
the Wisconsin Synod and of the report on two special meetings of the
same party. We have also given opportunity to interested parties
to discuss this matter with us.
After due deliberation of the matter we recommend that the vote
on the report of the committee to which the Synodical Report of the
West Wisconsin District had been referred for review be postponed
till the next meeting of the Synodical Conference and that the
protestants be referred to the West Wisconsin District of the Wis-
consin Synod.
Adopted.

(Committee: Pastors Wm. Nommensen, J. Schinnerer, G. Fischer, Th.
Schurdel; Teacher H. J. Heyne; Messrs. Aug. Rosenthal, J. Jaus.)

[Report B is printed in German; translation:]
Your Committee permits itself to submit the following report:
There lay before us a protest in which pastors from the North Nebraska District of the Missouri Synod complain that the finding of an intersynodical committee in a case of dispute was not correctly set forth by the Nebraska District of the Wisconsin Synod in its synodical report.
We recommend to the Synodical Conference (*Synodalkonferenz*), because this matter already lies in the hands of an intersynodical committee, that this protest be returned to the pastors concerned with the recommendation that they turn with their complaint to the intersynodical committee, which should also see to it that its finding is correctly made known.
Since, however, it is not a question of doctrine but of a case of dispute, your Committee is of the opinion that nothing stands in the way of the adoption of the report of the examining committee.
We are of the opinion that the protest should not be read, because accusations are made in it against persons who are not present and so cannot defend themselves.
Adopted.
