Miscellaneous.
A greeting from the Immanuel Lutheran Conference that arrived by telegraph was received with thanks, and Pastor F. J. Lankenau was commissioned to reply to it.
Prof. J. Ph. Köhler was elected essayist [Referent] for the convention in the year 1926, with Prof. W. Henkel as his alternate. The choice of subject is left to the essayist. An invitation for lodging was not at hand, but is desired soon.
The thanks of the Synodical Conference [Synodalkonferenz] were voted: to the essayist for his edifying work; to the preliminary committee, which had worked with great diligence almost without interruption since Tuesday; to St. Paul's congregation at Napoleon and its pastor for the exceedingly kind hospitality.
Pastor O. Lübke was elected reporter for the "Missionstaube" [Mission Dove], Pastor A. Hardt for the Pioneer, Pastor W. Hönecke for the "Lutheraner" and the "Gemeindeblatt," and the Secretary for the Northwestern Lutheran and the Lutheran Witness.
It was resolved to suspend the rule of closing the convention with a service on Monday evening and to close on Monday noon.
