1. Paſtoren:

F. C. Behrens (Ill.); Ch. Kühn (Ill.); O. Eißfeldt (Ill.); U. Iben
(Miſſouri); H. Sagehorn (Wis.); W. Endeward (Wis.); J. C. Heyner
(Wis.); J. A. Däſchlein (Minn.); A. Wangerin (Ill.); H. Kowert
(Ill.); J. Drögemüller (Ill.); J. Jungck (Ill.); L. J. Gehrmann (Ill.);
F. Wambsganß (Pa.); E. Sander (Md.); G. Häfner (Md.).

2. Lehrer:
M. Große (Ind.); Cl. Ehlen (Minn.).

3. Gemeinden:
(nach Prüfung der vorgelegten Gemeindeordnungen):

Die Dreieinigkeits⸗Gemeinde zu Worden (Ill.); Paſtor: J. Hanſen.
Die ... Gemeinde zu Freiſtadt (Mo.); gegenwärtig predigerlos.
Die St. Marcus⸗Gemeinde zu Medaryville (Ind.); Paſtor: H. Katt.
Die Chriſtus⸗Gemeinde zu Liberty (Wis.); Paſtor: J. L. Huber.
Die Immanuels⸗Gemeinde zu Meredoſia (Ill.); Paſtor: Th. Buszin.

Ohio u. a. Staaten.“

...year not meet, and yet for several reasons the requested admissions did not seem to bear postponement, the question arose: whether the General Synod, having transferred this power to its districts, still itself possessed the right to carry out admissions when assembled as a Delegate Synod.

In the end it was agreed, in the following statement: that it is not contrary to the constitution, but rather in keeping with its spirit, to carry out admissions in such cases — but only when such petitions are submitted by the district presidents concerned.

Accordingly the following were admitted:

1. Pastors:

F. C. Behrens (Ill.); Ch. Kühn (Ill.); O. Eissfeldt (Ill.); U. Iben (Missouri); H. Sagehorn (Wis.); W. Endeward (Wis.); J. C. Heyner (Wis.); J. A. Däschlein (Minn.); A. Wangerin (Ill.); H. Kowert (Ill.); J. Drögemüller (Ill.); J. Jungck (Ill.); L. J. Gehrmann (Ill.); F. Wambsganss (Pa.); E. Sander (Md.); G. Häfner (Md.).

2. Teachers:
M. Grosse (Ind.); Cl. Ehlen (Minn.).

3. Congregations:
(after examination of the congregational constitutions submitted):

The Trinity congregation [*Dreieinigkeits-Gemeinde*] at Worden (Ill.); pastor: J. Hansen.
The ... congregation at Freistadt (Mo.); currently without a pastor.
The St. Mark's congregation at Medaryville (Ind.); pastor: H. Katt.
The Christ congregation at Liberty (Wis.); pastor: J. L. Huber.
The Immanuel congregation at Meredosia (Ill.); pastor: Th. Buszin.

The Branching-Off of New District Synods.

The pastors and congregations of our synod in the Province of Ontario, Canada, who had until now formed the Northern District of our synod together with the pastors and congregations in the State of Michigan, petitioned the synod for permission to form a district synod of their own. Since the synod became convinced that it could only serve the spread of God's kingdom in Canada if a separate synodical district existed there:

Resolved, that permission be given to the pastors and congregations in Canada to unite in a separate synodical district; and that it be recommended to them that they take the name: "Canada District of the German Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Missouri, Ohio, and Other States."

The same wish — namely, to form a district of the synod of their own — was also expressed, in a petition addressed to the synod, by the...
