Outstanding accounts have grown considerably as a result of the recently much larger
volume of sales. They currently amount to $47472.08. This sum does include some very

The Board of Directors is pleased to report that the new school textbooks have found
their way into almost all schools within the Synod and into many schools of the other
synods belonging to the Synodical Conference. The fourth part of Dr. Dümling's
*Arithmetiſches Exempelbuch* [arithmetic exercise book] would no doubt have been
adopted just as widely if the answer key so indispensable to teachers had been able
to appear.
