VI. Election of Officers.

Before the election of this body, a letter from the Ev. Luth. St. Mark's congregation in St. Louis, Mo., addressed to the Synodical Conference [*Synodalkonferenz*], was read. In it the congregation asked that, in the election of the Commission for the Negro Mission [*Negermission*], its pastor, W. Hallerberg, be passed over. But since Rev.
