aus den Evangelien, ſowie je eine aus den Epiſteln und aus dem Alten
Teſtamente.

3. Die Ausfertigung dieſer neuen Reihen und deren Annahme ſoll
in folgender Weiſe geſchehen: Wir ernennen eine kompetente Perſon,
die nach beſtem Ermeſſen die vier Perikopenreihen aufſtellt. Die Vor⸗
lage ſoll im Sommer 1911 im „Homiletiſchen Magazin“ (St. Louis),
in der „Theologiſchen Quartalſchrift“ (Milwaukee) und im „Schul⸗
blatt“ (St. Louis) veröffentlicht werden und mit ihr zugleich die Auf⸗
forderung, daß jeder Paſtor und jede Konferenz etwaige Wünſche oder
Vorſchläge zur Veränderung oder Verbeſſerung der Vorlage ſpäteſtens
anfangs März 1912 an die Perſon ſende, die die Vorlage gefertigt hat.
Dann beſieht ein Komitee, das ebenfalls hier ernannt wird, in Ver⸗
bindung mit dem Verfaſſer der Reihen alle eingelaufenen Kundgebungen,
die die neuen Perikopenreihen betreffen, redigiert die Vorlage je nach
Befund und bringt das Ergebnis als gedruckte Vorlage im Sommer
1912 vor die Verſammlung der Synodalkonferenz.

Herr Präſes F. Soll wurde beauftragt, die Perikopenreihen zu⸗
ſammenzuſtellen.

Als Redaktionskomitee wurden die PP. F. H. Eggers und E. F.
Härtel und Prof. Th. Schlüter erwählt.

IX. Verſchiedene Beſchlüſſe.

1. Der Bericht der Kommiſſion für Negermiſſion ſoll künftighin
vor dem Zuſammentritt der Synodalkonferenz gedruckt und den einzel⸗
nen Delegaten überreicht werden.

2. In einer Fußnote zu dem Bericht der Kommiſſion für Neger⸗
miſſion ſollen die ſtatiſtiſchen Angaben im Bericht über die einzelnen
Stationen näher erklärt werden.

3. Der Herr Kaſſierer ſoll erſucht werden, für den zu druckenden
Bericht einen Kaſſenbericht einzuſenden. (Siehe unter Kaſſenberichte.)

4. Herr Direktor Schaller ſoll erſucht werden, ſeine Eröffnungs⸗
predigt im „Lutheraner“ und im „Gemeindeblatt“ zu veröffentlichen.

5. Der Sekretär wurde beauftragt, einen kurzen Bericht über die
diesjährigen Verhandlungen für den „Lutheraner“ und das „Gemeinde⸗
blatt“ zu liefern.

6. Ein Antrag, den Schlußgottesdienſt von Montag⸗ auf Sonn⸗
tagabend zu verlegen und am Samstagnachmittag eine Sitzung zu hal⸗
ten, wurde mit dem Beſchluß, bei der alten Ordnung zu bleiben, ab⸗
gelehnt.

from the Gospels, as well as one each from the Epistles and from the Old
Testament.

3. The preparation of these new series and their adoption shall take place
in the following way: We appoint a competent person
who, to the best of his judgment, draws up the four series of pericopes. The draft
shall be published in the summer of 1911 in the "Homiletisches Magazin" (St. Louis),
in the "Theologische Quartalschrift" (Milwaukee) and in the "Schulblatt" (St. Louis), and with it at the same time the invitation
that every pastor and every conference send any wishes or
proposals for alteration or improvement of the draft at the latest at the
beginning of March 1912 to the person who prepared the draft.
Then a committee, likewise appointed here, will review, in connection with the author of the series, all submissions received
that concern the new series of pericopes, will edit the draft according to
findings and will bring the result as a printed draft in the summer of
1912 before the convention of the Synodical Conference.

President F. Soll was instructed to compile the series of pericopes.

Pastors F. H. Eggers and E. F. Härtel and Prof. Th. Schlüter were elected as the editorial committee.

IX. Miscellaneous Resolutions.

1. The report of the Commission for the Negro Mission shall in future
be printed before the meeting of the Synodical Conference and handed to the individual
delegates.

2. In a footnote to the report of the Commission for the Negro
Mission the statistical data in the report on the individual
stations shall be explained more fully.

3. The treasurer shall be asked to submit a treasurer's report for the report to be printed. (See under Treasurers' Reports.)

4. Director Schaller shall be asked to publish his opening
sermon in the "Lutheraner" and in the "Gemeindeblatt".

5. The secretary was instructed to deliver a brief report on this year's
proceedings for the "Lutheraner" and the "Gemeindeblatt".

6. A motion to move the closing service from Monday to Sunday
evening and to hold a session on Saturday afternoon was rejected with the resolution to keep to the old order.
