XII. Die Kaſſe der Synodal⸗Conferenz.

„Unterzeichnete Committee erlaubt ſich, zu berichten, daß ſie das Rech⸗
nungsbuch des Schatzmeiſters geprüft und richtig befunden hat. Danach
belief ſich

die Einnahme in dem verfloſſenen Rechnungsjahre auf $2.00,

die Ausgabe auf $12.42,

der Beſtand in Kaſſe auf $2.00.

Dagegen findet ſich eine Rechnung von M. C. Barthel, St. Louis, Mo.,
vor, wonach

die Ehrw. Synodal⸗Conferenz demſelben ſchuldet $146.00, zu deren Be⸗
zahlung Mittel beſchafft werden ſollten.

Dieſer Bericht wurde angenommen und im Anſchluß daran wurde
beſchloſſen:

1. Daß der Secretär beauftragt werde, die Sache der vorhandenen
Schulden auf den Druck der Synodalberichte in Ordnung zu bringen, resp.
die Präſides der einzelnen Synoden zu veranlaſſen, daß ſie ihren Kaſſirern
Anweiſung geben, ihren betreffenden Theil der Schuld an den Kaſſirer der
Synodal⸗Conferenz einzuſenden.

2. Daß der Secretär ſich erkundige, wie viel die Koſten des Druckes
der Probeausgabe des engliſchen Katechismus und die Reiſekoſten der be⸗
treffenden Committeeglieder betragen, und die Summe pro rata auf die
einzelnen Synoden vertheile und die betreffenden Präſides auffordere, dieſe
Schuld decken zu wollen.

Unerledigte Gegenſtände.
1. Theſen über Kirchengemeinſchaft.
2. Theſen über das Jus parochiale.
3. Theſen über innere Miſſion.

Dankvotum.

Beſchloſſen, daß den lieben Gemeinden in Columbus für ihre in
ſo freundlicher und liebevoller Weiſe erwieſene Gaſtfreundſchaft der herz⸗
lichſte Dank der Synodal⸗Conferenz öffentlich von der Kanzel abgeſtattet
werde.

Ort und Zeit der nächſten Verſammlung der Synodal⸗Conferenz.

Die nächſte Verſammlung der Synodal⸗Conferenz wird, ſo Gott will,
am erſten Mittwoch des Monats October 1881 in der Gemeinde des
Herrn Paſtor A. Wagner zu Chicago, Ills., ſtattfinden.

XII. The Treasury of the Synodical Conference.

"The undersigned committee takes the liberty of reporting that it has examined the account book of the treasurer and found it correct. According to it
the receipts in the past fiscal year amounted to $2.00,
the expenditure to $12.42,
the balance in the treasury to $2.00.
On the other hand there is an account from M. C. Barthel, St. Louis, Mo., according to which
the Honorable Synodical Conference [*Synodal⸗Conferenz*] owes him $146.00, for the payment of which means should be procured.

This report was adopted and in connection with it it was resolved:

1. That the Secretary be instructed to put in order the matter of the existing debts on the printing of the synodical reports, that is, to prevail upon the presidents of the individual synods to give their treasurers instruction to send their respective part of the debt to the treasurer of the Synodical Conference.

2. That the Secretary inquire how much the costs of the printing of the trial edition of the English catechism and the travel costs of the committee members concerned amount to, and divide the sum pro rata among the individual synods and request the presidents concerned to cover this debt.

2. Theses on the Jus parochiale [parochial right].
3. Theses on Home Mission.

Resolved, that the heartiest thanks of the Synodical Conference be publicly expressed from the pulpit to the dear congregations in Columbus for the hospitality shown in so friendly and loving a manner.

Place and Time of the Next Convention of the Synodical Conference.

The next convention of the Synodical Conference will, God willing, take place on the first Wednesday of the month of October 1881 in the congregation of Pastor A. Wagner at Chicago, Ills.
