9. Bericht über die Synodalberichte der Ehrw. Synode von Wisconſin
u. a. Staaten von 1888 und 1889.

Unterzeichnete Committee hat, dem Auftrag der Ehrw. Synodal⸗
conferenz gemäß, die Berichte der Ehrw. Synode von Wisconſin u. a. St.
vom Jahre 1888 und 1889 geleſen und geprüft, und kann berichten, daß
ſie in den darin enthaltenen Verhandlungen über die Lehre von der Taufe
nichts gefunden hat, was dem Worte Gottes und dem Bekenntniß unſerer
lieben lutheriſchen Kirche zuwider wäre.

Synode von Miſſouri von 1888 und 1889.

9. Report on the Synodical Reports of the Venerable Synod of Wisconsin and Other States for 1888 and 1889.

The undersigned committee, in accordance with the commission of the Venerable Synodical Conference [*Synodalconferenz*], has read and examined the reports of the Venerable Synod of Wisconsin and other States for the years 1888 and 1889, and can report that in the proceedings contained in them on the doctrine of Baptism it has found nothing that would be contrary to the Word of God and to the Confession of our dear Lutheran Church.

The undersigned have examined the reports of the Middle District of the Venerable Synod of Missouri, Ohio and other States, for 1888 and 1889, both of which treat the doctrine of the Sacrament of the Altar, and have found that they agree with Holy Scripture and with the Confessions of our Church.
