§ 6.

In all cases in which the president is prevented from serving himself, or if he commissions his deputy to do so, the latter is authorized to take his place.

§ 7.

The secretary shall, with the help of his deputy, keep the minutes, see to their printing after they have been laid before the president and approved by him; take care of the necessary copies and extracts from the minutes, and at least six weeks before the assembly of the Conference announce the same in all the organs of the synods connected with the Synodical Conference [*Synodalconferenz*].

§ 8.

The treasurer shall have oversight of the moneys belonging to the Conference, report annually on the state of the treasury, and pay out the moneys concerned according to the commission of the Conference and on the direction of the president and secretary.

§ 9.

As regards the order of speaking, every subject to be discussed shall first be presented clearly and definitely by a seconded motion and, if desired, submitted in writing, before the debate on it is taken up. Whoever then wishes to speak on it shall notify the president, who, in the order of notification, gives the floor to the person concerned.

§ 10.

These supplementary laws can be increased, altered or also repealed by a majority of two thirds.

Of these supplementary provisions, last year §§ 1, 2 and 3 were adopted definitively without the subdivisions, and the remaining paragraphs provisionally. This time the whole draft was adopted unanimously in the above form. At § 4 it was expressly declared that it refers only to the order of organization named in § 3. With regard to the announcement (§ 7), it was wished that the subjects of the doctrinal proceedings in each case be included in the public announcement of the assembly. (See First Report, p. 74.)

It was resolved that the roll of the delegates' names be read at the close of the last session. The Conference also made the declaration that it regards the closing service (in the evening) to be held after adjournment of the session as an integral part of the session.
