Litterarische Intelligenzen. 343

Bläsing in Erlangen:

Dr. M. Luthers Glaubensbekenntniß für ev. Christen, herausg. mit
Vorwort und Anmerk. von Dr. P. — Schillerformat. In sauberm Um⸗
schlag broch.

Schütze) in Berlin,
ist so eben erschienen:

Wangemann, Archidiac. Der Kirchenstreit unter d. v. d. Landeskirche
sich getrennt haltenden Lutheranern in Preußen. Eine Berichtigung und
Ergänzung der bisherigen Veröffentlichungen. 22½ Sgr.

Pfarrer Dr.
Besser zu Waldenburg in Schlesien von A. F. O. Münchmeyer, Consisto⸗

Literary Notices. 343

Finally, all preachers should eagerly seize every opportunity to instruct
their congregations faithfully in all that a Christian needs to know
concerning betrothals and the estate of marriage. For this the one
sermon on the 2nd Sunday after Epiphany is, to be sure, by far not
sufficient in the whole church year; therefore it is highly necessary to
preach on it also in connection with other Gospel readings, after the
pattern of the House Postil, likewise in the expository sermons on
Scripture, as well as in the yearly instruction in the Catechism at the
4th and 6th Commandments and at the Table of Duties. The so-called
bridal examination, which is most fittingly grounded on the lections in
the Traubüchlein, can serve as a wholesome preparation for the wedding
address, or, where such is not customary, as a welcome substitute for it.

the work here announced!
