Within the Synodical Conference there are 14 hospitals, 2 sanitariums,
1 deaconess hospital, 1 convalescent home, 8 orphanages, 14 child-welfare
societies, 9 homes for the aged, 14 hospices, 1 institution for the deaf and dumb, 1 institution for
the feeble-minded and epileptic, 1 training school for boys and 1 industrial
school for girls. The property value of these institutions is estimated at
$8,262,240.
