P Hear the words of Holy Scripture.

A For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches
us to say “No” to ungodliness and workdly passions, and to live self-controlled.
upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed
hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. who
gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a
people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (Titus 2:1 1-14)

What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and
love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it
with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. (2 Tim. 1:13-14)

As for you, continue in what you have leamed and have become convinced of.
because you know those from whom you leamed it. (2 Tim. 3:14)

Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. (2 Tim. 2:1)

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does
not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (2 Tim
2:18)

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and
encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. (2 Tim. 4:2)
