PROPOSED AGENDA 369
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. [Believe] in God; [believe] also in me. In my
Father's house are many rooms: if it were not so, I would have told vou. I am going
there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come
back and take you to be with me that you also may be where | am. You know the
way to the place where | am going.” Thomas said to him. “Lord, we don't know
where you are going. so how can we know the wav?" Jesus answered, “I am the way
and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John
141-6)
P This is the Word of the Lord.

Pp Almighty and most merciful God, you appointed us to endure suffering and
death with our Lord Jesus Christ before we enter with him into glory. Grant us
grace at all times to acknowledge and accept your holy and gracious will, to remain
in true faith, and to find peace and joy in the hope of the resurrection of the dead and
the glory of everlasting life; through Jesus Christ, your Son. our Lord, who lives
and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
- Amen

baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into
