PROPOSED AGENDA
P In the name of the Father and of the + Son and of the Holy Spirit.
@ Amen
*. The pastor addresses the congregation:
® Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, __~ __ has been chosen in the
Church's usual order as__:*«_ in the Church. This service has been established
by the Church to strengthen and support the office and work of the public ministry.
4: \~_has prepared __""~<"~~«'_ for this work by prayer and study. _'f< =
has been examined and declared ready to undertake this sacred responsibility.
Hear the Word of God concerning this office.
8 One or more of the following portions of Holy Scripture are read.
A Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do
not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body,
and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to
the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to
his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach: if it is
encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let
him give generously; if it is kadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing
mercy, let him do it cheerfully. (Rom. 12:4-8)
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use
whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's
grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the
very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God
provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him
be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (| Peter 4:8-11)
Jesus called [the disciples] together and said, “You know that the rulers of the
Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not
so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your
servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man
did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
(Matt. 20:25-28)
Let the word of Christ dwelt in you richly as you teach and admonish one
another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs
with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or
