and showing them Christ in their time of need. The LCEF
must remain safe to depositors and provide loans (along with
financial counseling to avoid burying congregations in debt
they can’t repay). LCEF should continue providing services
such as demographic information and stewardship education,
like its role in developing “Consecrated Stewards,” and watch
for other needs to address.

I have truly enjoyed being a part of the growth and development of Ascension Lutheran Church, the Kansas District
through LCEF and The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. I
believe that with my 32 years of experience in banking, lending, real estate, and management I can help the church expand
and meet the needs of the churched and the unchurched. I
believe that God has placed me in this position to help build
His Kingdom and further His mission. I look forward to continue working with LCEF and LCMS to meet that goal.
Thanks to the LCMS for preparing for the future of church
plantings and facility improvements. Already as a young
teenager, my father encouraged a savings plan with church
extension programs in our district. Not only does one save and
invest, but also supports the mission of planting the message
of salvation here, there, elsewhere. It would be a privilege to
serve!

We share this world with evermore
people needing the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ
but for whom this message is displaced by daily living and
competing spiritual philosophies. There is a growing view that
Christians are agents of control and condemnation rather than
grace, truth, and love. We must expand our efforts to equip
congregations and members to make positive connections
with people across the street and around the globe, to demonstrate sincere interest in their wellbeing and then to help them
find true faith, hope, and joy in Christ. My LCMS vision:
Let’s Connect with More Saints!
I am humbled and honored to be
nominated to stand for election
to the Board of Directors of the Lutheran Church Extension
Fund. My thoughts and vision for the future of our Synod
revolve around our church body providing opportunities for
current and future members of the Body of Christ to grow in
their journey with Him. To do this effectively, we must walk
together to nurture His children as they grow in His grace! I
would willingly serve our Synod through the LCEF Board of
Directors to grow God’s Kingdom.
