Amendments to the Slates of Candidates
Bylaw 3.12.1.3 provides opportunity for the convention to alter the slates for President, First Vice-President,
and other Vice-Presidents by amendment. A motion, second, and majority vote is necessary. Prior written consent of
such candidates is required and, along with pertinent biographical information, must be submitted immediately to the
Secretary of the Synod by the delegate making the nomination. Forms for this purpose are available upon request from
the Office of the Secretary. After all such amendments have been received and voted on, the convention ratifies the slate
of candidates prior to each election.
