We are happy to be in our new chapel-school. We have hads
our ups and downs since the loss of our church by fire, but all
has turned out for the better. The people now seem to work 4
harder. We are trying to pay for our chapel-school. The people 4
went all out to help get it back. We had our pastoral conference a
here recently, and all the pastors liked our new church-school very
much. They think it would have a value of $6,000, but with the#
help of the members’ labor, it cost us about $2,500. Our Super- 4
intendent went all out with us through the mud and rain to 4
assist us. He built our entire altar set and gave us our steeple. 3
We hope through this new building which God has given us, joy -@
will cause us to branch out to Thomasville and toward the state a
of Mississippi. q
The congregation has given several teachers. At present we 4
have one teaching in Selma. We have two students there now, and 4
we hope that one will become a minister. We plan to send three 4
students to Selma this September. We hope that when our debt E
is paid we will be able to raise our budget $50. Thanks to the Mis- -
sionary Board, which has been so good to us. S. L, Games

During the past two years, St. Paul’s Congregation in Oak Hill
has been busy trying to raise funds for a much needed chapel and
school room building. We hope to have this erected in the near
future.
