of Convention Site
RESOLUTION 11-09
Overtures 11-15 to 11-17 (CW, pp. 441—442)
Wuereas, Our synodical conventions are increasing
in size with respect to both number of delegates and
facilities required; and
Wuereas, It is becoming increasingly difficult for
many cities to handle efficiently a convention of such
magnitude; and
Wuereas, It is advisable that together with any in-
vitation for a future convention, qualifications should be
submitted indicating the ability of a city to meet cer-
tain minimum requirements; therefore be it
Resolved, That prior to submitting invitations the
host group determine the minimum requirements from
the Synod’s convention manager and then submit their
proposal to the Council of Presidents for recommenda-
tion to a convention.
Action: Adopted (2).
