Resolved, That Bylaw 3.573 be amended to read:

3.573 Functions
The commission shall

a. gather-and-provide information, advieeand-tt-

erature-and counsel concerning eH organizations, beth

worldviews, about which pastors er and congregations

may make inquiry relative to eeremenies objectives, ten-
ets, programs, practices, or ebjeetives ceremonies;

b. seek to explain the Synod’s concerns to these or-
ganizations that are involved in religion and have un-
christian or anti-Christian features, with the goal of
persuading them to diseard-their-ebjectionable abandon
such features;

c. prepare and disseminate periodic reports concern-
ing new organizations, philosophies, and worldviews
changes within existing ergenizations-entities, and de-
velopments relative to erganizatiens the world religious
scene in general;

d. serve as a resource center for the Synod with ref-
erence to information on religious entities and world-
