130 RESOLUTIONS
and be it further
Resolved, That, with the exception of Bylaw 3.805 (“Re-
tirement Policies”), all other provisions of these Bylaws
being deleted be immediately incorporated into the Board
of Directors’ policy manual.
Action: Adopted as amended (9).
(Resolution 5-06 was adopted in session 6 by a vote of 662-
355. A motion to reconsider was approved by a vote of 754-290.
In response to a question, it was stated that the resolution would
not increase the authority of the Board of Directors over policies
governing District and college or seminary personnel. The role of
the Board of Directors is advisory with the exception of those
serving at the International Center. In response to the motion for
reconsideration, 5-06A was introduced in session 9 and was
adopted overwhelmingly.)
