THE LUTHERAN PIONEER.

Der Kleine Katechismus Luthers — ein Kleinod
unserer Kirche. Festschrift zum Katechismus-
jubeljahr von Dr. Georg Mezger. Verlag des Schrif-
tenvereins, Zwickau, Sachsen. Order from Concor-
dia Publishing House, St. Louis, Mo. Price, 30 cts.

This book was written by a man that knows and ap-
preciates the priceless value of our Small Catechism. In

a masterful manner he brings out the rich contents of

Luther’s gem. A careful reading of this brochure will

lead to a deeper veneration and a more conscientious study

of Luther’s “Little Bible.”

Rud. H. CO. Meyer. 29 pages. Price, 25 cts. Order
from Rev. R. H. C. Meyer, 812 Lafayette Ave., St.
Louis, Mo.

In a certain sense “Old Trinity” of St. Louis may be
termed the “mother church” of our Synod. For this rea-
son this beautiful souvenir, prepared for the ninetieth
anniversary of Trinity’s existence, is of more than local
value and interest.

cordia Publishing House, St. Louis, Mo. 206 pages.

We have here, arranged for mixed choirs, three well-
known funeral hymns: “Wait, My Soul, and Tarry”;

God Ordains Is Good.”

Hospice Directory. Published by the Walther League,
6438 Eggleston Ave., Chicago, Ill.

The Walther League puts forth most laudable efforts
in behalf of the Lutheran traveler. In this book is given
a complete list of all the hospice workers, and the traveler
is given helpful suggestions. A copy of this directory
should be in the vestibule of every church, and the pastor
should make frequent reference to it. The Walther Léague
also publishes Removal Notice Card Booklets at 10 cts.

r booklet. In this manner the Walther League wishes
iS do its share in conserving our members for the Church
when they leave home. Thousands of young people, in par-
ticular, are lost to their Church when they remove from
fee into a strange city. Let us do all we can to reduce

loss.

‘Diminuti . Concordia, Publishing House, St.
