Himmlischer Trost fuer Kranke und Angefochtene.
Dargeboten von Carl F. Hissfcldt. Cloth; 83 pages.
Price, 60 cts.

Twelve very beautiful meditations and most appro-
priate selections from the Psalms and our hymns make up
most of this small book. ‘Two forms for sick-communion
are given. Pastors will find the book very useful and
suggestive for short addresses to the sick.

Troestet mein Volk! Volkstuemliche Auslegung des
Propheten Jesaias in Predigten nach der Ordnung
des Kirchenjahrs. Von Johannes IJuchthausen.
Cloth; 159 pages. Price, $1.50.

This volume treats eighteen texts from Isaiah appro-
priate for the Christmas cycle. In many instances the
author expounds more than his text in the course of his
sermon. ‘The style is popular and manner of treating the
texts simple and yet quite exhaustive.
