Scriptural stand in this matter, Dr. Frits was asked to answer this letter in
the name of the Committee, first subaitting his letter to all members, stating
that it is Synod's policy not to accept congregations who insist on the policy
of granting women the right to vote in public assembly, quoting our Scriptural
reasons, calling attention to the pamphlet on thie question written by Dr. Dau.
This does not mean that women's opinion should not be sought and considered,
especially on matters of vital interest to then.

included in the Book of Memorials.

Respectfully submitted,

WF. Witkin
