MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE
ON CONSTITUTIONAL MATTERS, JULY 26, 1961

The meeting was held on the campus of Concordia Teachers College

in River Forest, Ilinois, and was opened with prayer by Dr. Mueller.

Present were Dr. Mueller; Mr. Herbert Kuenne; the Secretary; and

Advisory Member Vice-President Dr. Arthur Nitz.

The motion was made, properly seconded and carried
“to recognize the outstanding service of Chairman
Meyer and to convey to him the appreciation and
the greetings of the Board."
The Secretary explained that the minutes of the meeting on Feb-

running commentary on the dis cussions that had taken place and the

agreements that had been reached on that day.

The Secretary now presented a three-page communication from the
Rev. August R. Suelflow, Research Secretary of Synod's Survey Com-

issues, were now discussed paragraph by paragraph and tentative answers
