Rach District is urged to appoint a Co-ordinator of Student Work.
In 10049 b, insert in line five after “Section 10.48 a-c: “provided he has
no incomef. After the end of the sentence in line six, add: “If his income
warrants it, such worker shall pay eight per cant of hisssem— income to the Pension
Fund in order to remain eligible for the Pension benefits".

Under XII, PUBLICITY, strike out 12,01 -12.05 and substitute the

following :
A. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
12,01 Personnel and Appointment

The Department of Public Relations shall be administered by a poard of seven
members, three pastors, three laymen, and one member of the faculty of one of our
teachers? colleges. This board shall be appointed triemially by the Board of
Directors, in consultation with the Presidenty together with the Vice-presidents.
12,03 Functions and Duties

Be The Board shajl correlate the work of the District Press Committees and
otherwise provide for the dissemination of news through press and radio;

12.05 Executive Secretary

An Executive Secretary shall be appointed by the Board for Public Relations,
subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. He shall be Synod's Director
of Public Relations. He may be released from office py the Board for Public

Relations, with the consent of the Board of Directorse
