a member of a board or an agency of the Synod as described in Bylaw 1.5.7. As written, clause iv of that
section does not meet the requirements of the Synod Bylaws.
Proposed Section 10.03, describing distribution of the assets of the entity in the event of dissolution, is
one of the sections which must be amended to reflect 2004 Res. 4-11 unless the alternate language
proposed is approved by the Synod’s Board of Directors.
Finally, Article XI, governing amendments to the constitution, needs to reflect the requirements of Bylaw
3.9.2.2.3 (a) requiring prior submission to and approval by the Commission on Constitutional Matters of
such proposed amendments.
If this entity will require any other governing documents, such as articles of incorporation, such additional
documents must also be submitted to the commission for review and approval.
