MINUTES OF THE CONVENTION

the Division of Higher Education, in consultation with
the Hispanic Advisory Council, the Board for Higher
Education, the Board for Missions, and the Colloquy
Board, to assume responsibility for the implementation
of Dallas Res. 10-3, calling for the preparation and
training of workers for Hispanic pastoral ministries;
and be it further.” The amendment also added words to
the last resolved, “Resolved, That the President and the
chairman of the Division of Higher Education be em-
powered to direct the seminaries and colleges and
boards to carry out without delay assignments given
them in the area of a Hispanic program.” The resolution
was then adopted as amended.

Elections

The chairman of the Floor Committee on Elections,
Henry Simon, assisted by committee member George
Bruening, President of the Kansas District, reported
election results to the convention. It was reported that
elections had been completed in all except nine areas.
