WHEREAS. The Lord has blessed The Lutheran Church—
Missouri Synod and its television ministry through the dedicated
labors and talents of Dr. Leonhard C. Wuerffel, who was ap-
pointed to the Television Board at its inception in 195i and
served as its chairman for 20 years: and

WHEREAS. Dr. Leonhard C. Wuerffel was instrumental in the
development and growth of “This Is the Life,” animated family
specials, and other mission ministries through television: there-
fore be it

Resolved. That The Lutheran Church-— Missouri Synod in
convention at Anaheim give thanks and praise for the gift of

Leonhard C. Wuerffel, his love for the Lord, his Christian zeal.
and his service in the Gospel outreach of the television ministry.
