Concerning B-II-4, Appraisals of Properties, Committee 1 +
recommended: :
That Synod extend a vote of thanks to Mr. Henry W. Horst for
his efficient services in connection with the appraisals of Synod’s |
properties,

Action of Synod: This recommendation was adopted with
a rising vote of thanks.

Concerning C-4, Change in Charter of Concordia Teachers’
College, Seward, Nebr., Committee 6 recommended:

Concerning D-1, Centennial Thank-Offering, Committee 11
recommended adoption of the following resolutions:
a. That Synod commend the Board of Directors for the efficient

b. That Synod express its gratitude to those Districts which
relinquished a part of the District’s share of the Centennial Thank-
offering to the General Body;

c. That Synod express its gratitude to God, the Giver of all
good gifts, for His blessing on the Thank-offering, by which the
synodical debt was liquidated.

Action of Synod: These resolutions were adopted, , :
Concerning D-2, the Annual Budget, Committee 11 recom-
mended adoption of the following resolutions:

a. That Synod commend the Board of Directors for inaugurating
the annual budget;

b. That the annual budget be continued and that every effort
be made to maintain a balanced budget;
