By the time Synod assembles in convention a Synod-wide

“On November 8, 1940, Pastor H. D. Mensing resigned as chair-

Commission. On December 17 the Lord suddenly translated our
esteemed coworker into the mansions of glory.

__ The President appointed the Rev. Paul L. Dannenfeldt to suc-
ceed Pastor Mensing as chairman of the Commission.
