Alterations of, and Amendments to, “Handbook” Referring to Board of Directors and Boards of Control The Board of Directors through a subcommittee had sub- mitted a compilation of the stipulations of the Synodical: Handbook as contained in the 1937 edition, referring to the duties of the Board of Directors, chiefly in its relation to the local oards of control. Many of these rulings no longer apply. A nu ber of changes were therefore suggested by the Board of Directors. Committee 9 had studied these matters and was prepared to bring in its report and recommendations. These were not heard by Synod because the time was short and the recommendations many and complicated. Action of Synod: This whole matter was referred to the new Committee for the Revision of the Handbook.
