2. Laboratory.— Our laboratory equipment is just as inade-
quate as the library. Our microscope, bought at second hand, is
worn out. We have no vacuum pump, practically no electrical
equipment, no biological charts; in short, we lack dozens of more or
less expensive things needed for efficient teaching of the sciences.
We therefore request the Hon. Synod to grant us for

3. Repairs and Replacements. — We ask Synod to appropriate
the necessary funds for the following items:

a. Replacing the worn-out water-heater, taking down, and
refastening, a row of wash-basins, and replacing corroded
