If we lose our tempers and allow the old Adam to rule us, great harm could be done to the church, the Synod, our congregations and people. But if we remain calm and fair and loving but firm, we can enter the greatest era of our history— with greater doctrinal unity, greater mission zeal, and greater dedication to one another and to our dear Lord Jesus. May the Holy Spirit be with us and watch over us, so that in all things Christ our Lord may be the Victor and all glory go to Him alone. J. A. O.
