Synod of Missouri, Ohio, and Other States. 1932. 31 pe a solution to the housing problem. A temporary building to date at least 75 students — that would be the minimum re- ent — could hardly be erected for $20,000, including installa- ae ‘on of & heating apparatus, lavatories, sewer connections, ete. After “sti it would only be a makeshift for a short time, and in the opinion al, ur Board the money spent in this manner would be wasted. We must leave it to Synod, which declined our request at the last con- yention for more room in the dormitories and in the dining-hall, to find a proper solution to this very vexing problem. That the students who have completed their second-year course in June of the current year do not return to the institution for one year, remaining, however, under the general supervision of the faculty ; _ 2 That the Board of Control and the faculty of the Seminary jointly with the Board of Directors and the College of Presidents de- termine the continuance of this measure until the next meeting of Synod if conditions demand this.
