THE LUTHERAN PIONEER. Charlotte, N. C. — Rey. C. J. Malloy was united in marriage with a young lady from Gastonia, N. C. May God’s blessing rest upon this union! A Letter from Africa. — In British Nigeria there are a number of native Christians who are begging us to come over to help them. They have been served by a British mission, but have had sad experiences and wish us to serve them. A young man from Nigeria is at this time attending our . college at Greensboro with the intention of pre- paring himself for work among his native brethren. The letter mentions this young man. We give the letter just as it was received, without any correc- tions. We are sure that our readers will agree with us in saying that these native Africans are showing a remarkably good knowledge of English. We copy the letter from the Fastern Field Bulletin: “Dear Sir. We are exceedingly please forwarding you this (See July number of PIONEER.) 121 a few lines. Asking about your coming or when shall you send somebody to come over to Ibesikpo? We are patiently waiting for your coming over to Ibesikpo. To take up the work which we are un- able to do it to-day. To preach to us pure gospel of Heaven. Take for granted that we are tired for your wasting time to come, so therefore we praise earnestly to send somebody to Ibesikpo as soon as. our letter is on your hand. We wrote to you first time that we are anxious to get you in Ibesikpo countries. Now we are ready to here from you, your opinion in this matter. We are waiting for your immediate arrival to do God’s work among us. Nothing can distroy God’s work so far He liveth with us. Now Ibesikpo are preparing to send their children to Lutheran School. Ibesikpo people will accept the gospel of Heaven. Ibesikpo people want to have Lutheran Mission in Ibesikpo country.
