Yes, our chil- dren are trained to stay for church, It is true that a little child shall lead them. Certainly, the Lord has indeed blessed our congregation and His Word among us. For this we are, indeed, grateful to Him. We are also truly grateful to the Missionary Board which stands behind us with financial support. THomMas GLAMMEYER Jehovah, Pensacola, Fla. Pastor: R. Work here was begun in October 1924 with meetings held in the vestry of Im- manuel (Southern District member) Church. At present the phys- ical plant, consisting of a chapel, a two-room elementary school building, and a converted army barracks used as kitchen and kin- dergarten room, is located at 2525 North Davis Street. The offerings for 1957 represent an increase of 20 per cent over 1955. The increased offerings have been due to a more extensive program of stewardship information, and have been used primarily in an effort to reduce the subsidy asked from the Missionary Board. In the past two years, the portion paid toward the pastor’s salary has been doubled, and a residence is furnished through rental for our male teacher. It is the hope and goal of Jehovah Congregation to become completely self-supporting in the near future. Because of local laws it will be necessary in the near future either to provide better facilities for our kindergarten or to cease operations. The barracks purchased at the end of World War IL and converted into a school room has served us well, but it is no longer adequate. We are starting a building fund in hopes that the new structure may be started this summer and be ready for the new term in fall, A loan may be requested from the Church Ex- tension Fund. Children’s classes are conducted regularly during the school year to prepare the children in our upper grades for communicant membership, A class of 9 will be ready for confirmation on Pente- cost. Adult classes are conducted whenever a group is gathered together. At present the adult class numbers 6 and should be com- pleted in July. During the first quarter of 1958 the members of Jehovah Con- gregation have shown a new zeal and determination to work for
