The Lord has guided us to a choice location on one of the main thoroughfares into the city, in a newly developed and fast-growing community. On this site there will be ample space for an adequate playground and parking. It cost us the premium price of $25,000. Due to financial circumstances we are forced to renovate an old dwelling house for school use. However, there will be ample space for three class- rooms and two rooms for other uses. To save labor cost, the renovation is being done by the men of the congregation. By the time Synodical Conference convenes our new church will, we hope, be under construction. Through the Missionary Board a loan has been arranged. We are very grateful to the Board and offer our praise and thanks to God for blessing us with such an organizatior as the Missionary Board of the Lutheran Synodical Conference. B. P. Our school and Sunday school are both filled to capacity. Our Sunday school offerings for 1957 were a little over $1,100. This was more than one half of our regular church envelope offer- ings. We give one half of our Sunday school offerings to foreign missions. We have bought a public address system for our church and play chimes on Saturday evenings. We are currently paying on a six-foot chain-link fence which borders our property. Our ladies group has purchased a $350 outdoor bulletin board and our school runs a school bus. We are gradually becoming more and more self-supporting each year. At the present we are paying three of our four teachers’ salaries and $40 per month on our pastor’s salary. We are in need of more room, especially for Sunday school. With another loan from the Missionary Board we were able to purchase a four-room house. Before this, we had to conduct a Sun- day school class in the bus. Now that we are crowded once more, it looks like we will have to use the bus again for lack of space.: When one person was asked to come to church, she replied, “I thought that was a church just for children.” Our average church
