Attendance averages about 50 per cent of the communicants in and around Montrose. Communion attendance on the basis of those who are not away is 6 times a year. Offerings are very poor, though about 25 per cent is given for missions and education. h its traditional — adults, all, coming early enough for Sunday school. We note an increased activity in missions on the part of the Ladies’ Aid. This is a direct result of the formation of the field- wide A-FLLMO, Alabama-Florida Lutheran Ladies Missionary Organization, the adopted child of Miss Rosa J. Young, who for years dreamed of such a society. Montrose has one son at Immanuel Lutheran College, Greens- boro, N. C., in the college department.
