Immanuel Lutheran College Report IMMANUEL LUTHERAN COLLEGE, GREENSBORO, N.C. By the Rev. G. E, Hageman, Chairman In submitting this report on Immanuel Lutheran College, Greensboro, N.C., for the past two years it may be stated with gratitude that the Lord has blessed the work at and for this school and has kept His protecting hand over it. The college completed fifty years in the service of the Church, during which, despite adverse conditions and circumstances, it has been a great blessing in our Negro work. We pray that the Lord of the Church in the second half century may grace it with the stature that it deserves. During the immediate past biennium no great changes have occurred in the membership of the College Board, which is an auxiliary of the Missionary Board, except that Pastor R. F. Jenkins toward the close of 1953 moved to another part of the country and Pastor Howard Foard of High Point, N.C., was appointed in his place on the Board. We acknowledge with pleasure the conscien- tious devotion of Pastor Jenkins during the brief spell that we have been privileged to work with him in behalf of Immanuel College. His mature judgment has been of great value. The College Board met in regular and special sessions during the biennium. The Executive Secretary of the Missionary Board, Dr Karl Kurth, attended a number of these board meetings and gave invaluable assistance. Since the last convention of the Synodical Conference no changes have occurred in the faculty. All members of the faculty, both the professors and the instructors, have faithfully applied themselves to their several tasks under the leadership of Presi- dent Kampschmidt. The President has taken opportunities to rep-
