Your committee would recommend that the Reverend Synod resolve: "1. that everyone, in his own circle, make this fund known as well and call attention to its great importance, and collect for it; "2. to charge the commission of the General Church-Building Fund with sending a request to all congregations that they take up a special collection for the Walther Fund of the General Church-Building Fund at the Walther celebration to be held in the fall; "3. to make the seven changes proposed by the commission in the Synod's 1902 provisions (p. 88) concerning the Church-Building Aid Fund; "4. that the Synod approve of the commission's not having, up to now, taken over the $2000.00 mortgage resting on the church property of the Polish Christ Congregation in Baltimore; "5. that the Synod repeal the resolution adopted on this matter in 1908, since it conflicts with the fund's actual purpose. "6. The books of the treasurer of the General Church-Building Commission were, at the treasurer's request, through one appointed by the chairman... 1) The $800.00 for Southey has been approved by the commission and is in our hands (after deducting the stated cash balance); however, it has not yet been sent out, since the notes are not yet in the commission's hands. A. C. F. Wichman, Treasurer.
