13th Delegate Synod of Missouri, Ohio, and Other States, 1911. 121

2. Greetings and good wishes received for this synodical session from the brothers in London, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, and Germany shall be most cordially answered by the Secretary of the General Synod.

3. The report of the Commission for Inner Mission Abroad shall be included in the Synodical Report unabridged.

4. In cases of special emergency the General Treasurer shall be authorized to borrow the funds needed for it.

Prof. L. Fürbringer conveyed, on behalf of Pastor J. Kunstmann, *Präses* [president] of the Free Church of Saxony and Other States, a cordial greeting from the Saxon conference assembled in Leipzig in early May, which wished God's abundant blessing on our whole Synod.

The Commission for Inner Mission Abroad closed its report with these words:

"Your Commission has, during this triennium, had its attention drawn to other countries where the mission of our Synod could and should also be undertaken — for example Hawaii, the Philippine Islands, and especially Africa. But inquiry showed no open door anywhere there, nor had any call come to us from there, so that we could make the Synod any recommendations in this regard. It would indeed be fine if we could have the Gospel preached in other countries as well, so as to help fulfill the prophecy of Christ, which for believers also holds a glorious promise, Matthew 24:14: 'This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come' — the end, when the true General Synod begins: not merely an assembly of delegates, but when all believers are gathered around the throne of the Lamb, including those saved through Inner Mission Abroad."
